I am Debbie Eckardt and I currently live in Columbia, Missouri. I taught English in China for two years. I enjoy helping people and learning new things.

I was born in California, grew up in Alaska, lived a short time in Missouri, attended college the first time in Seattle, Washington, and spent eight years in North Carolina before moving to China to teach English.

I have survived ovarian cancer (stage 1) so I feel very lucky to be alive. Before that, I was always more interested in making money than in having fun; but now I try to live life to the fullest. Others around me might argue the point, but I have different priorities than most people.
