About me

At 38, I still don't believe I am totally grown up. There are times when I experience life with a child like enthusiasm. I guess this keeps me young at heart. Being a die hard fan of practical jokes doesn't always fair well with my family and friends. They are always on edge, as it is never known who will be my next victim. Unfortunately for them, I never tire of it. Fun is my middle name, and I'll do just about anything for a laugh.

I do have a serious side, when need be. I am the single mother of an twelve year old son. Fun and games have to stop at times, so I can retain control of the household. My eighty three year old aunt lives with us too. She is battling stage IV colon cancer. I am forced to be serious when dealing with her.

Other than that, all bets are off. I can be as crazy as I want.

I am a people pleaser. Avoiding conflict at all costs, makes me an easy target. Usually I end up getting taken advantage of and walked all over. I am the ever loved door mat. When someone gets my dander up, I talk a big game. That's all it is, talk. Very seldom do I act on my emotions.

I am an avid seeker of knowledge. Any new found interest, totally consumes me. Immersing myself, I spend every waking moment pursuing my passion.

Family values rank number one with me. There is nothing more important. This is a priority I have tried to instill in my son.

My love of animals and life fuel my passion for protecting animal rights and participating in many charitable events to help causes such as cancer, MS, Diabetes and Heart disease.

Writing is my release. Anything I am feeling, can be put into words. Sometimes just getting it out, makes all the difference.
