writing, business and family. If I am not writing an article or review, I am normally working on developing a business idea, or enjoying time with my family.

football. I am one of many (believe it or not) supporters of Middlesbrough FC, an English Premiership side with a fantastic manager and great squad of players.

My parents always told me ...

to make the most of life and live it to the extreme. After all, we only live once!

My childhood ambition ...

was to be a pilot. Unfortunately, my eyesight proved an immediate hurdle, so I turned my focus to writing and journalism.

My favorite memory ...

is of a family holiday to Zante, a Greek island, with my family when I was approximately 11 years old. The weather was incredible, the people were friendly and the island is one I will never forget.

Why I write ...

I write to provide a 'good read' for the audience. I am never proud of my work unless somebody likes to read it, but most importantly until that person engages with and enjoys the text.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

At the moment, I am not reading anything other than the daily news and those articles posted by other members of Helium. I currently enjoy to watch films, such as the Will Smith movie, 'I Am Legend'. As for music, i am an admirer of Kanye West, who has given me the confidence and inspiration to fulfill and exceed my own personal expectations.

My inspiration ...

is music. As noted above, I am inspired by artists like Kanye West, who clearly devote their lives to their passion. I am inspired by the potential to not only meet and achieve my aims and objectives, but to exceed them and continue to develop. I am a firm believer that the impossible is possible.

The influence of the media on our thought processes and beliefs undoubtedly affects the way we perceive our lives. We are taught from an early age of the differences between right and wrong, good and bad, yet somehow we continue to doubt the seemingly doubtless. Believe it or not, I am an optimist; I see the world as half full.
