: About Me

My writings are based on forty years expertise that is built on a foundation of experience as business owner, manager, teacher, training-consultant, freelance writer, researcher leader and leader in diversified fields such as volunteerism, fund-raising, public speaking, meetings as well as many national and local organizations, businesses, clubs and civic organizations, government agencies and individuals across the USA.

A high school graduate with some college, I am primarily self-taught. When asked to present a workshop on something such as creative thinking or brainstorming I read and listen to as s many as six books a week on the subject, until I feel comfortable enough to teach it. I stay current by continuing to read, learn and attend workshops and seminars.

Highlights of the extremely long list of individuals and groups I worked with include but are not limited to National Association of Parliamentarians, Toastmasters International, National Areonotics and Space Administration, various Florida county schools and county departments and administrations.  While a member of MENSA I created mind-stimulating games and rulebooks and taught outside-the-box thinking to children ages birth to fourteen. I also created, taught and wrote the manual for ExtemPromptu Speaking. As a member of Mensa I developed games and mind simulating games for gifted and challenged individuals.

Better-known personalities I worked with or coached include Florida State Representative Bill Snyder and international motivator Bob Burg. Parliamentarians I authored a Parliamentary Procedures training manual for preschool and elementary aged children. Martin County Florida Council on Aging asked me to conduct workshops to train leaders how to speak to the media, I developed a manual. Florida Bankers Association wanted to learn better meeting procedures, I wrote the manual. A California based company, Roper Engineers and Associates called on my taents to develop a telemarketing sales office and when the company expanded across the northern California I set up their telemarketing teams.
