I am 65, I helped to raise over 168 children from many races and ethnic diversities during the volatile 1970's and beyond. I did this in the context of a religious commune. I made lots of friends there but I also was persecuted for my own voice. So I have taken to writing as part of the healing process. Coincidentally my husband before I joined the commune also harassed me for my beliefs. Oh well. no reason to hold a grudge. All that happened to me created me into the person I am now. I believe in the power of love, family and the pen.
