: About Me

I've just completed a crisis-themed book of essays called "The Stones Will Cry Out: Essays on Crisis" and I've begun work on a novel - my first.

I have a master's degree in creative writing from Texas Tech University and a bachelor's in journalism from Texas A&M University. I spent 15 or more years as a newspaper features writer and editor before going to graduate school. My work has appeared in the literary journal, So to Speak, and on celiac.com's website and newsletter. It will appear in the literary magazine, Tangent, in June.

I'm currently looking for an agent. I live in Massachusetts with my husband and two children.
