About me - Paula Maher

About me

My name is Paula.
I am a graduate of Morris Journalism Academy and I live in Perth, Western Australia with my little 7 year old girl, my husband, a dog, two cats and a bird.
I have had several jobs in my life, but have yet to find one that gives me the joy and fulfillment writing does.
When my daughter started school the door opened for me to follow my childhood passion.
I have had a few articles published here and there and I'm very keen to learn and expand.
So here I am. I am excited about the prospect of being part of a community of writers who may share their wisdom and help me in my quest to be my best self.

Life is a journey. Death is a return to earth. The universe is like an inn. The passing years are like dust. Regard this phantom world As a star at dawn, a bubble in a stream, A flash of lightning in a summer cloud, A flickering lamp - a phantom - and a dream." The Buddha A while ago I wrote an article titled Near Death Experiences-What Happens After We Die?  In it I described the "for and against" if you like of what happens after we die.
