: About Me

What can I say about me? I was in the television news industry for 18 years which means all of my writing has been in a "folksy", as they like to call it in news, type of writing. But for 5 years I haven't had a creative outlet of any kind so I'm going to test the waters here at Helium and see if I can make the transition from tv news to some other type of writing. I'm also going to begin shooting still pictures so that I can still have that visual outlet of creativity as well. (I definitely can't draw or paint!)
I love horses, German shepherd dogs, reading, movies, scuba diving and warm beaches!
I live on an 11 acre "farm" with a small log home that is surrounded by trees with a pond out front. So that's the basics...hope I didn't bore you too much!

Fostering a pet is more than just temporarily taking an animal into your home. It is a major responsibility that takes time, patience and lots of love.
