I have been writing poems and articles since 1959. I quit studying French and English at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine in Trinidad, to travel to Europe, where I studied German and Swedish at language schools in Bremen, Germany and Stockholm, Sweden; I later worked as a newspaper reporter/feature writer for the “Trinidad Guardian”, before moving to Florida.
I have written over 200 articles and poems for the website Helium. I also write for Bright Hub, Associated Content, and the Caribbean Compass. My main topics are Language Arts, Diet and Nutrition and Travel.
I am multilingual. In addition to English which is my maternal tongue, I speak, read and write French, German, Spanish and Swedish.
