Robin May is a 1997 honors graduate of Clark Atlanta University where she majored in Mathematics. After graduating from CAU, Robin worked for the Social Security Administration, Aegis Communications and served in full time ministry for seven years at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church (where Bishop Long is Senior Pastor).
Because of her passion to empower people to live the fullness of their life, Robin has returned to CAU and is currently pursuing her Master's degree in the field of professional counseling (anticipated graduation: May 2008).
Mrs. May is the CEO of Virtue Speaks which is an online resource focused on spiritual and relational empowerment (www.virtuespeaks.com). Robin is also the author of the HBCU Guide which is a handbook for future and current students attending Black Colleges (www.hbcuguide.com). Mrs. May is also the CEO of Executive Execution (www.executiveexecution.com) an administrative solutions company and the co-author/owner of Baby Thoughts, a popular blog and online maternity and baby clothing company (www.baby-thoughts.com).
Robin is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and a member of the 2007 class of Leadership Georgia. Although Robin is extremely proud of her accomplishments, her most treasured role is being the mother to her 10-month old daughter, Ryann Kimberly and wife to Lee May, the youngest politician ever elected to serve on the DeKalb County Board of Commissioners.
Robin's motto is "Love your own life. The grass may be greener on the other side, but it cost a whole lot more to maintain".

There are very few 18 year olds (or 30 year olds for that matter) who can say for certain what they want to do with the rest of their lives. I cringe at the people I chose to date, the places I chose to go to and even the clothes I chose to wear at age 18 affecting me for the rest of my life (what ever happened to Nick anyway?). That is why it is a good idea for students to free-style' during their first semester in college. In other words, if a student is not certain about their life aspirations they can choose to have an undeclared major' for the first semester of their college matricula...
