If there is a distinct me, then it is in the pages of Locke and the lines of Homer and the sad heroes of Uris. The pain and hope of Hemingway is here as is the anger and disappointment of Vidal.

I am the confusion and failure of Blair (Orwell) and Huxley, and the courage of their lost protagonists.

I am simply a soul trying to discover if I am lost.

Oh yea, I'm legally blind progressing towards totally blind. Stargardt's Disease which is not really a disease in the strictest sense of the word. If affects less than 0.03% of the population and less than 1% of those effected go totally blind. That means I've either blown my luck at slim chances or I best go get a lottery ticket.

Not a bad thing though. If you have to have a disability, go blind, it doesn't hurt. Better yet, 80% of the information you get in life is visual, 85% is negative. Go blind, you end up on the top of the equation.
