David Stanford is a network engineer who has been in the IT field for over 10 years. He has written numerous technical manuals and training guides while in this role in various technical fields.

He lives in the quiet town of Whitby, Ontario, Canada with his wife and 2 children.

One of his greatest passions is Mixed Martial Arts and writing on the sport, the athletes, and the overall concept of MMA.

In addition to writing on MMA he has also been training in Jiu Jitsu, Muy Thai, and Boxing for a few years.

He has written on various other topics in Helium including travel, food, and biology which are all also some of his favorite things to do.
