I am a "thirty-something" happily married chic who has always dreamt of being a writer. Funny thing I've found though is unless you actually put forth the effort your dreams generally will not come true. I think I've been waiting for some magical "writing inspiration" to descend upon me like fairy dust and POOF! I'd be a writer. That bit of luck never fell into my lap though so here I am now finally taking my first step towards doing what I love. Bottoms up my friends, here's to better late than never.

Father, Mother and Husband
As a child there was no trick to making friends, it was very simple. My family moved to a new home when I was 6, just entering first grade, and the neighborhood kids automatically became my friends. It was like a logistical default of some sort. No effort had to be made at all. I rode my Big Wheel heading East on the side walk, 3 doors down another little girl rode her tricycle West, within moments our vehicles were upon each other and VOILA! Instant friendship.
