Vic Coelho lives in Hanford, California. As a Research Analyst and Labor Market Consultant, he retired from the State of California's Labor Market Information Division (LMID) of the Employment Development Department in March of 2005. He performed those duties for exactly 10 years to the day he was hired by LMID. His total state employment comprises 28.5 years with experience in all aspects of Employment Services and Unemployment Insurance.

Vic's duties at that time entailed labor market research as well as explaining the labor market to the news media within the California counties assigned to him.

Now that Vic is retired, he has decided to put his knowledge to use and establish a Labor Market Snippets Web site dedicated to issues of interest to the public. The Web site URL is: www.labormarketsnippets.com

Vic graduated from California State Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo with a BA degree in history and a minor in political science. He has a second degree in fine art, and studied law at San Joaquin College of Law in Fresno, California. Vic enjoys writing, and finds our world fascinating.
