I have been writing pretty much all my life. My 30+ years of direct sales experience has been full of writing for whatever field I was working in, from cosmetics, fashion and beauty to home construction and sales. I'm currently a Realtor in NH.
As Director of Publications for the internationally direct-marketed Finelle Cosmetics in the '80's & '90's, I was responsible for creating and /or editing everything the company produced for the consumer and the field sales people. This included not only packaging, product and selling instruction as well as company news, but also, fashion "forecasting," business-building techniques, and motivational writing, for a primarily female sales force in Canada and the US.
As Director of the former Bianca Model Agency in Boston and its' affiliated Finishing Touch Modeling Schools in MA and NH, I trained men, women and children in self-confidence techniques and specialized skills for the industry. I am currently writing a self-help book about building a a wardrobe that works!
Over the years I've written for a wide variety of business applications from sales and advertising to training manuals and school curricula.
I have feature stories published frequently in area news, and I write a regular humor column for a local magazine. I'm a member of NAR and American Mensa.
I've enjoyed being The Beauty and Style Channel Steward for the past year here on HELIUM, and look forward to having a bit more time to spend on my own writing now, but am always available to help!
