: About Me

I am a lover of the Arts and a struggling writer, born and raised in Washington, DC. I am interested in starting a career as a freelance writer. I have worked as an intern for the Washington Informer newspaper and as a a PR Consultant for Phyllis J Outlaw and Associates. I have also worked as a Copy Editor for Stars and Stripes newspaper. I have held positions as a Managing Editor, Copy Editor, Assistant Editor and as an Editor.

I have a BA in Mass Media Arts from the University of DC and a MA in Advertising and PR from Ellis College.

I hope from this experience that I can build up clips and earn my way into the world of journalism. My dreams are to be the next Barbara Walters with Oprah Winfrey's money. I would love to work for the New York Times and CNN. In the mean time also, I would love to work as a Marketing Assistant for a major record label and own a recording studio.

We all know the about the former HBO hit television series "Sex and the City," and how the four characters Carrie Bradshaw, Samantha Jones, Charlotte York, and Miranda Hobbs lived the Manhattan life single. The show depicts the single lives of these women-careers oriented, desperate to get married, not wanting a relationship and trying to find the right relationship while comparing every man to The One' who is in and out of her life.
