To promote my books/Web sites, and for the fun of writing I have submitted some of my stuff to the American Chronicle as well as Helium. I have a disadvantage when I write for Helium because I do not enjoy writing about the things that appear to be most popular with helium readers. I do get to enjoy the work of those writers that are knowledgeable in these various areas. Any way i wanted to comment on the great service that Helium provides and the impressive talent that so many members display.

The topic was should our politicians be held to a higher moral standard? Presumably meaning the rest of us can have a lower moral standard. I am a retired attorney at law so I have some very deep feelings about this. If you ever get to read the California monthly Bar Journal you will see that many lawyers are suspended or disbarred for stealing client's money, compromising a trust fund or for other misconduct that warrants punishment.
