In the summer of 2006 I was diagnosed with a brain tumor the size of a lemon. It had been growing for over ten years and I didn't even know it. At first the news petrified me because I knew that I would have to have it surgically removed. However, after a little time getting used to the idea I actually became ecstatic because I finally had a diagnosis. For years I had constant headaches, migraines, dizziness, loss of hearing and in general just felt badly all the time.
