I'm 24 and I've been writing since I was old enough to hold a pencil. I feel that my writing strength is poetry, but I have also nearly completed a novel, Child of Galina, that I am currently working on editing.
I lived in Virginia from birth until I was 21, when I moved to South Carolina with my husband. Writing has helped me to get through the loneliness of leaving family and friends behind as well as helping me to keep in touch. Writing has found its way into every nook and cranny in my life and I've gladly embraced it.*
*edit: I am now living back in Virginia due to a seperation with my husband, and I"m hoping that writing will again help me through the tough times.
