Some career high points:
For fifteen years, Linda, along with her husband, was a homeschool teacher to their two sons from K-12. Linda knows how difficult it can be to get started and to understand the ins and outs of legal issues, curriculum selection, and teaching. Consequently, she has written and published a book in 2008, called Homeschooling: The Modern Day One Room Schoolhouse (http://www.cafepress.com/homeschool2.422714570), for those who want to homeschool, but need information about getting started and how to keep going.
As a contributing author for the anthology, Stolen Moments, by Elizabeth Bezant and Pamela Eaves, Linda was privileged to participate in their effort to bring the issues of Alzheimer's Disease to the attention of the public. A portion of the book sales were used to support Alzheimer's Australia.
Becoming a winner of the 2006 NaNoWriter Award was an amazing experience in discipline for Linda. Winners are required to write a novel of 50,000 words (175 pages) in 30 days during the National Novel Writing Month beginning November 1st and ending on November 30th by midnight. From that experience came Linda's first novel, Bonnie's War, to be published in the future.
Linda's recent projects:
-SEO product descriptions for online shopping sites
-ghostwriting web content articles
-writing web content for new web pages
-writing articles for e-zines
Linda's areas of expertise include content writing for print magazines, e-zines, newsletters, and newspapers.
