I say it often, I'm 5% talent, the rest is confidence and sheer hard work. Being positive of the outcomes get me there, whether in small tasks or bigger projects.
Writing (mainly poems and short stories) is my passion, besides gardening, floral art, home decorating, cooking, painting, listening to music, short-film making and talking; not necessarily in that order either.
Being born and raised in Indonesia from Indo-Chinese parents, I was surrounded by beauty and artisans who convey it in various art forms. Hence my love of all things beautiful. I migrated to Australia after meeting my then fiance, Chris, in 1976. We got married that same year. Sadly we lost him in 2002 to cancer.
Furnished with Asian antiquities, my home is a reflection of my character and heritage.
My position as creative production assistant at a corporate gift company constantly provides me with new challenges. I get inspired to improve my home and garden by magazines, TV shows, open garden schemes or just by visiting friends' homes.
Raising pet chickens, Kiki and Sheba, provides me with daily fresh eggs plus manure for my totally organic vegetable and tropical landscape garden. My parents and grand-parents teach me to be a true greenie before the term came into our recent vocabulary. Our family is both water and energy efficient; in our effort to help preserve our earth for future generations.
Being raised Buddhist, I learn to appreciate all forms of life on our planet. They are all there for a reason, without them all we will be buried with our own ever growing trash. So go easy on pesticides and weed-killer.
I have two university graduate young adult children; one is an illustrator and the other a primary school teacher. These and a handful of very good friends, plus an extended family still living in Indonesia are my most important people to me.
For now, I'd like to extend my fan base via the websites which provide me with endless forums to share my writing with. Eventually, I wish to publish my body of work with a keen conventional publisher. My sheer gratitude will be forever expressed herewith.

Keep Your Dreams Alive, and Master Your Own Destiny. It all begins with a dream. Now it's up to you to make that dream into a reality. A dream will remain just that unless you do something about it. What makes a success story? The answers are: 5% talent and 95% hard-work. Persistence and know how are essential parts of that hard work. Willingness to learn is also vital in one's endeavour to be successful. Hunger for success is the driving force behind it all. Part of the learning curve is making mistakes. Don't be disheartened.
