: About Me

I am a single mother of one, who works as a Graphic Designer for a local newspaper. I started writing poetry and short stories as a teen and even had some of my poems published in a small school newsletter.

What initially started as a hobby and a way to get my thoughts down on paper quickly took a turn when I wrote "Awakening" and "Broken Feet," and I have since began writing in earnest.

I have kept most of my poetry and the notes (and working chapters) for the novels that have been working their way through my head and have written a few more short stories that I am hoping to turn into an anthology at some point (along with the poetry).

I have three novels in the works, at various stages, but am focusing mostly on my Fantasy novel called Perfection, which is half-way done. It is a dark, re-telling of Snow White.

The second of the three novels is a Science/Fantasy fiction that takes place in a decedent society several hundred years in the future. The working title is "Nature Unbound"

The third is the first book of a Science Fiction trilogy. The Trilogy is called The SunStroke Trilogy, but the books title itself is "The Forever Plague."

I took my first turn at song writing recently, when I was inspired by a particular event and person in my life to write "I'd Give the World Away."

Though I have had many other song ideas in my life, this was the first one that I actually managed to write down as it stuck thoroughly in my head. It is dedicated and was written for a very special person in my life.
