I am a retired city police officer and self defense instructor at our local college. I work part time as a private investigator and am still debating whether or not to find a full time job. I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend and teacher who loves to write, but unfortunately a career of writing legal reports has stuffed the creative edge. I was a fraud investigator, arson investigator, squad leader, field training officer and instructor with our local police department. I still do handwriting analysis and none of these reports lend a hand to creative writing.
I live in a very windy state in the midwest and love traveling to Mexico when it is cold and snowing here. I find the beaches and warmth a great way to relax and clear the mind. The crystal blue water against the white sands has such a healing nature as I am recovering from losing my career due to a tumor. The soul is learning how to deal with the limitations of the body and growing in creative writing as a means of continuing to try and help others.
I welcome any feedback and look forward to sharing this adventure with all of you.
