Well, you already know my name, what else can I tell you?
In August I officially graduated from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania (yes, there is actually an Indiana in the great state of Pennsylvania, and the late Jimmy Stewart grew up there. There's a statue and a museum in his honor. Check it out some time the next time you feel like a dose of Western PA culture)with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications Media. Originally I went into Comm Media because I wanted to host my own show on T.V., but made myself at home in the unseen, unsung world of radio. Currently I am working in neither of those fields and am working in a restaurant instead just to pay bills. Someone once told me once you work in food service, you never leave. Maybe that's true.

My middle name is Leigh, and my confirmation name is Catherine, if you're Catholic and into that stuff.
I am obsessed with Orville Redenbacher popcorn. Seriously. I have a bowl every night almost, all to myself. That probably sounds strange, but there are worse things I could be obsessed with (like heroin or Michael Bolton).
I am a secret sci-fi nerd (well, I guess it's not really so much a secret is it?). Star trek, Star Wars, X-files, Twilight Zone... love it.
I love writing letters. Not e-mails, letters, with the pen and paper and stamp, etc.
I am a firm believer that the pen is mightier than the sword. There is no greater emotional catharsis for humanity than writing. Anything that comes out of our mouths when we speak can be a load of shit, but when we write we are honest with ourselves, even if it is a work of fiction.
And with that said, you know all you need to know about myself. Until I decide you should know more, that is.
May the Force be with you ;)
One of the oldest and common themes among mankind that remains universal in our personal lives as well as the media is redemption. Regardless of religion, race, nationality, class, and sexual orientation, everyone has mistakes they have made, sins they have committed. We've learned of their lessons in our literature, listened to sermons preached of them in our churches, and idolized our icons in music and film who embodied them. This fall television is delivering a new icon of remorse and redemption on the sitcom My Name Is Earl, where "karma is a funny thing." NBC's My Name Is Earl (airin...
