Born in 1969 in Indiana, I grew up and attended school there. Involved in a journalism camp in high school, and won an award from GLPA for yearbook writing as well. Considered Brown and Columbia, decided instead to pursue my interests in science and medicine at Case Western Reserve U. I never stopped being interested in writing, and my favorite topics of writing/conversation are Christianity(Methodist), science and nature (especially nursing), and people(other people fascinate me). I wrote mainly for myself until the last year, and gradually gained the courage to try writing for public consumption once more.
