One of the biggest problems facing the Mormon (LDS) Church is misinformation that is circulated by those claiming to be knowledgeable about the doctrines and history of the church. Many of these so called knowledgeable people do not have a clue and spread false information and half truths in order to feel better about their own poor relationship with and understanding of God. Others merely spout false teachings they have heard from their pastors, not realizing their pastor or preacher is wrong.
