As salaamualaikum wa rahmatullahi wabarkatuhu to any and all the muslims.Greetings to all others, I name is Mary or Maryam I am a 28 year old wife and mother of 3 I have found that writing is essential for me I love writing and making a difference in the lives of others . I hope to meet new people here on helium and please don't be a stranger to contact me and ask me any questions you need to ask.

As you all can see I am a muslim woman and I fully cover I was born and raised in America I hope to set the record staright for those who streotype muslim women or the religion of Islam.I am a real person who is faced with real life everyday. I love to fully covering in hijab and I have to say its most liberating and encourage other women to try it out just for one day.

I am happy to be here on helium and can't wait to meet knew people as well as read your articles.

I am reading a book called the explantion of important lessons by Shayk ul Islam Abdul-Aziz bin Abdullah bin Baz, I am watching my life change before my eyes, I listen to the Quran which is the speech of Allah.

I would like to start this editorial by quoting a famous phrase by the former American Vice President Dan Quayle when he affirmed what I undeniably agree with and that is, " What a waste it is to lose one's mind."
