I was born and raised in Flint, Michigan. I graduated from Bob Jones University and earned a second bachelor's degree from The State University of West Georgia.

Writing is a way for me to express my feelings in an organized method. It forces me to be clear and concise in what I say. It is something that I enjoy more now than I have ever in my life.

I am very interested in politics and current events.

I teach business subjects in high school although I may be reentering the private sector.

I am a Christian saved by the precious blood of Jesus Christ. Praise God!

Sadly, my former wife, after 15 years of what I thought was a good marriage, decided to divorce me. I HATE divorce and I am deeply concerned about the effects it will have on our daughters. I say that due to my personal experience, the advice of others, and reading way too many studies that indicate that they will have a harder time growing up then kids from an intact household.
