: About Me

I am new to Helium, for now. I plan to make this my home away from home. I've been writing all my life since I was able to form sentences on paper.

I've been told by my English teachers from grade school to college that I should pursue a career in writing, but I guess maybe I just lacked the confidence to do so. Perhaps I will get enough positive feedback from Helium to prompt me to actually do something with the tons of dead works that has filled my many notebooks over the years.

I love writing it's my out, sort of speak. I have written a few short stories and one novel and am currently working on my 2nd. The only thing I have had published were a few of my poems but I mostly write for personal accomplishment.

Other than writing I fill my past time with other joys. I am an avid comic book collector (loving the Marvel Universe right now). I dabble a bit in web design. I'm one of the types that will grab a how to book and go at it until I become an expert at it. I enjoy drawing although I haven't really picked up a stencil book in about 4 years. I think my youngest son has picked up that torch though.

I am the mother of two gorgeous boys, who are the center of my world. I hope you enjoy my contributions to Helium. I welcome all feedback good and bad as that is what truly shapes an author, so all are welcome to contact me with any questions or comments.

Picture a person in a prominent position of a company. High power lunches and stressful presentations make up his day. One night, he gets home and is short of breath and has chest pains.
