Hi, If you read many of my articles you will see that I write of my experiences and my life. That is what I know. I'm a regular person, mother, widow, nurse, musician, avid motorcycle rider, friend, horrible skater, wonderful cook, and many, many more things. I have found that life is way more interesting than most people give it credit. Each day is a new learning experience for me to chronicle and either use or make fun of. I hope you enjoy my writing as much as I enjoy providing it to you.
My passion is ...
The open road on a motorcycle with the wind in my hair and a bikers tan on my face and arms!
I know too much about ...
happiness and heartbreak
My parents always told me ...
Do what you think best we taught you right from wrong.
My childhood ambition ...
To be a singer.
My favorite memory ...
Driving my dads new 1969 pickup truck to town when I was 8 years old - all by myself!
Why I write ...
Life is humorous, sad, unpredictable and interesting.
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
Reading? I read everything from the cereal box to the Bible. Watch? Usually my kids have the Disney channel on. Listen? Classic Rock!
My first job ...
I was 13 and worked from 6am to around 2pm out in the fields weeding crops. When I got done with that I came home cleaned up and went to the doctors office to file charts and clean the office until 5pm. At 5 I went to the grocery store where I sacked and carried out groceries for the customers until the store closed at 8pm. I worked at the grocery store until I graduated from high school.
My best moment ...
There is no way I can come up with just one best moment. I have been blessed with too many to count.
My inspiration ...
My mother, she was a hard worker for her entire life. She was a scrapper, the only fight she ever lost was her battle with cancer.
