I'm a passionate supporter of the Internet and the freedom this gives to people everywhere to become masters of their own destiny. Writing is one of the things that almost anyone, anywhere can do and doesn't require specialist knowledge or a PhD to be successful at.

This belief is why I provide website templates for free download from my own blog, and why I am an active member of forums that empower people. It is also why I completed a CELTA course allowing me to teach English to foreign language people.

In my writing I try as much as possible to think of the reasons someone would read my articles, and then try to provide the information they need in a concise way.

The currency of Germany is the Euro, a multi-state currency introduced in 1999, and which fully replaced the previous national currencies in 2002. Prior to 2002 Germany used the German Mark as it's official currency, a currency which in the later half of the 20th century was remarkably stable as German industry recovered from the effects of runaway inflation in the 1930's and the damage caused by Allied bombing during the second world war.
