Hello!
So, this experience is completely new to me. I have been looking for a way to get into writing, and possibly earn some extra income through my penmanship, for quite some time now. I have always enjoyed writing, however, it was not until recently, with the enouragement of friends and family, that I realized I want to explore the possibilities of writing even further.
During my last year of high school I pondered what area of study I would focus my undergraduate degree on. As much as I enjoy the Arts, common sense told me that a Commerce degree was the way to go, and thus, that is the direction in which I went. I followed what I believed to be a standard path for someone in my shoes, and after four years of pursuing a post-secondary education I went on to join the coporate world straight out of university.
Now, almost three and a half years after finishing said Commerce degree, I wonder where I would be today, careerwise, if I had chosen a path such as journalism? While I in no way regret a business degree, I can't help but wonder, and so here I am.
I am not sure what to expect, but I hope I will be pleasantly surpirsed, and perhaps even inspired.
And that's just about all I got for right now!
Thanks,
AF

It's not hard to see why people (especially the young persons of today) become confused and sometimes lose their way on the path of life. By no means have I figured it all out, but I do believe that one should find a way to define one's self and it's important to do so by defining what it is you believe in. What words do you live by? For myself, I personally like to keep things simple, so I have ...
