I am an independent, self-motivated individual. My goals include becoming a teacher and an acknowledged educational writer, as well as playing some role in the improvement of our current environmental and economical state.
I began my writing "career" only one year ago. I had been pursuing it as a mere hobby. By simply "playing" with my writing, I published 49 articles, placed 3rd in my first attempt at a writing contest, and can now find my writing using Google search! I also became the Alternative Education sub-channel steward here at Helium. I really enjoy working with the education channel team. It is great to know that my input counts, and I can have a part in improving the channel.
4 articles a month may be accepteble for a hobby. However, I plan to take my writing to the next level. You can expect to see a constant new flow of articles from my areas of knowledge and experience. Look for articles on homeschooling (unschooling), early education, college preparation, distance learning, sociology, philosophy, environmentalism, and parenting.
