Man has needed to be able to communicate with his fellow man since the beginning of civilization. The Natives in Africa talked with drums. Native Americans used drums and smoke signals. Man has always found ways to keep in touch with each other. When the telegraph was introduced it was considered a real break-through in communication. In the early years of the settlers heading west the pony express and telegraph was the only way communication was made over the many miles of the country. Man was not satisfied with leaving things the way they were and kept on looking for newer and better way...
