It's funny, I write about a lot of topics, but not usually about myself! I've gotten involved in many areas because of my variety of interests and the places I've been ... I'm a homeschooling mom, run a small hobby farm, work in a natural health store, own online businesses and write for pay, sell scrapbook supplies and teach techniques, used to raise and train dogs. I love to travel, garden, read, craft, and play games. My degrees are in biology and psychology, and I teach writing. My faith is of great importance in my life. Because I've been involved in so many things, the topics of my blogs are varied ... I have a travel blog, a shopping blog, a natural health blog, a hobby and craft blog, a pet blog, an eCommerce blog, an SEO blog, and a personal finance blog. I'd love to add gardening and a general mom's interest blog, but I don't want to lose quality anywhere and I'm not sure I have the time to keep up more.
Mostly ... I love people. I love to interact with people and help people. My work at the natural health store allows me to do that, and keeps me learning (as well as keeps me and my family healthy!). I'm mostly a mom at heart ... I love to make my home beautiful, experiment with recipes, and spend time with my family.
I think that's enough (unless you want to know that my favorite video games are Final Fantasy and Xenosaga series ... which is pretty out of character with the rest of my bio!)
My passion is ...
people ... my home and family ... my faith
I know too much about ...
too many things!
My parents always told me ...
that girls can do anything boys can do
My childhood ambition ...
was to be a writer (but I hoped for novels!)
My favorite memory ...
is of my grandma's farm
Why I write ...
because ... I can't help it ... what's inside has to come out! (And I get paid for it too!)
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
The Fourth Dimension ... and usually Animal Planet
My first job ...
was in food service, though I swore I'd never work there
My best moment ...
moments ... were all those I held my daughter as a baby
My inspiration ...
is the hope of my faith
Having started with chickens and ducks, one day I added three baby goslings to our little "backyard barnyard." My first reasoning was that I had heard that geese were efficient weeders and would keep the grass short as well as help to control the weeds. I think maybe that was just an excuse really, they were cute little balls of fluff and I just wanted to take a few of them home! Little did I know at the time that geese are not "just more poultry" to those used to chickens and ducks, but are very unique!
The first difference between the goslings and the other birds is related to the mag...
