I am a published author. My first book is "Her Confession" a romantic tragedy. It is based on an unfortunate experience of a past abusive relationship that I survived. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communications Radio/TV & Film. Now seven years after graduating I find myself back with my first love, writing. I love to write but I haven't written essays or articles in years so I am excited about writing for Helium. I hope to learn and grow through my participation here. A little money wouldn't hurt either!

I was surprised to see a category for rape at all but then to see 'The stages of date rape' I decided to take a look. Now here I am going further to write on said topic.
