About me? I'm supposed to put what makes me stand out from the crowd in this section, aren't I? Well, here's what's so special about me. I'm not very special at all. In fact, I'm NOT special at all. I'm just a normal, average, "runs in my hose and bad hair days" kind of person. So why write my experiences? Because every other average Joe out there can relate.
My life is average. It has its ups and its downs. But I embrace the good and the bad and I learn from my mistakes and I grow with each good day. I use every opportunity in life to learn about myself and to learn about the world. I think I've learned more about myself in the past two years than I have in my entire life. Who taught it to me, you might wonder? My 20 month old child. The more I watch her grow and learn, the more I learn about myself and the kind of person that I want to be. I'm sure I'll expand on this in my writings!
So, now that we've covered that I'm a nobody, here's some useless facts about me. I was raised in a small town in southwest Louisiana. I'm a college graduate and I'm working on earning my Master's Degree in Library Science. I am recently married with two small children, one boy, one girl. They are the pride of my life. My biggest accomplishment to date. I like the color red, italian food, and impacting people's life. I hate fighting with my husband, playing the role of bad cop to the kiddos and most foods.
So that's me. I have such a small voice, but so much to say. I hope there's someone out there who can relate. I hope there's someone out there, as imperfect as me, that finds inspiration in my experiences.

Does Marriage Change Everything? What a question! Frankly, there is no black and white answer. Marriage cannot change anything. Marriage is simply legalizing a bond between two people. I think what really changes are the people. Admittedly, the people do not change until they have "legalized their relationship," So in a manner of speaking, marrying someone tends to bring on change. Confused yet? Let's add some clarity. We have all seen how relationships work. First we meet and fall in lust. Let's call this the "Charming Period". We dress our best, act our best, and generally charm each oth...
