Hi I am a white male in his mid 30's. I've had various careers in the last few years ending with being an auto- mechanic or technician.
I've never been married and still live at home being a p/t care giver to my elderly parents.
I am in the midst of learning how to write and learning how to play guitar. While the guitar is for fun the writing is all business.
Some day I hope to publish some short stories maybe some poetry and a novel or two.
I live 30 miles north of Center City Philadelphia in Pennsylvania in the United States. I live in a small suburb called Bristol. Easy to get to from Philly.

Yes it is possible and no you do not have to be a martyr or a bad man to do so. Regret is a function of hindsight. It's when you look back at your past and realize you've blundered here or there by not thinking through an action and reacting instead of thinking through and making the correct decision. It could be that you were too afraid to examine your own motives at the time.
