Hiiiiiiii there! I'm Jen, and I probably like you. I'll be a friend to anyone who needs me.
Here's some randomness for your reading pleasure:
I lead philosophy discussion sections at UT. I do homework in bars. Penn State is the love of my life. I've adopted Happy Valley as my official hometown, since I don't really have one of my own. I'm obsessive about human rights. I can't stand hatred or discrimination, and the world's inequalities and prejudices drive me out of my mind. Whether I'm feeling optimistic or pessimistic, I choose to live as an optimist. If I were a drink, I'd be pink champagne. I'm a very feminine feminist. I genuinely love and care about people. *I love you.*
I get about 90% of my calories from red wine. Haters can't come between me and my Uggs. I used to have a pierced belly button, but my body said, "No thanks." I like buying homeless people dinner. I lived in Jakarta, Indonesia from the ages of 11-13, and think *everyone* needs to live in another country at some point. Dali paintings are a pretty accurate depiction of what my mind usually looks like. I own four pairs of Uggs and *love* them. No matter how I'm feeling, I smile and laugh a lot. I could gaze out at the ocean for the rest of my life and not get bored. My favorite beach overlooks a volcano. Been in every ocean except the Arctic.
Went to 3 different high schools. I have degrees in biology and philosophy, and yes, they actually fit together pretty well. I live for *Too Much Information,* both giving and receiving. No topic is off-limits with me. I'm a Pisces to the coredreamy, indecisive, loving, scattered, and trailing around at the *end* of the Zodiac, *lucky me*! I love crazy fashions and bright colors. I'm addicted to pink, but I have all-black days. I can't dance but I do anyway. My favorite color is the golden shine off the trees at sunset in late summer. I eat sushi for breakfast. I'm an expert with chopsticks. Family and friends are my life, and I want to know everyone on the deepest level possible. Nothing shocks me. Freshman year, my roommate and I co-invented the *almost* world-famous gummy bear therapy.
Really, what more could you want to know?

Pink. Disney princesses, girls, and femininity. Pink is more than a color. It's a persona. It's an attitude. It's PINK. It's the favorite color of most little girls, and many never change. I was and still am one a young victim of pink fever. My desire to be just like one of the princesses I saw in movies (even the Disney flicks with more modernized women) is more than likely what fueled my pink craze. When I was seven years old, I didn't want to wear anything but pink dresses. And sure enough, when boys in my class played anything from Super Mario Brothers to Pirate Ship at recess, I was a...
