Hi! My name is William Altgeld, ( My Pen Name.) I'm the Grand Nephew of the late, great John Peter Altgeld, Esq. Former school teacher, Union Soldier, self-taught Lawyer, former district attorney for Andrew County,Mo., former Chicago Lawyer and Law partner of the famous Clarence Darrow, former Chicago Judge, former Congressional Candidate from the Illinois 4th Congressional district, former mayor of Chicago, former Govenor of Illinois, nominated to run for President of the United States as the Democrat Candidate to run against Grover Cleveland, but had to decline due to not being a naturalized citizen.( His parents immigrated from Selters, Gremany when he was an infant!) I live 20 miles from his childhood home in Richland County, Ohio. I and my children are his only living relatives in the United States
I am a Registered Nurse who practices in the Emergency Room. I'm a Vietnam Veteran having served two tours of duty in Vietnam as a Navy Corpman. I've been a Surgical Technician, EMT, Operating Room Supervisor, Self-employed in a Surgical Instrument Business. In recent years I've done Traveling Nursing as an ER Nurse. I own a new business FRM Products and Services and sell the fabulous Teeter Hang-ups Inversion tables that cured my back from the severe pain of two compression fractures! I also repair and rebuild battery packs for battery powered tools, and am about to add an etching service where we will be able to etch any picture, lettering or numbers onto any surface! ( Can you tell I'm getting ready to retire from Nursing?) I only sell what I love, and I love what I sell! I love my country and it's freedom more than my own life!
I'm also a licensed Ohio Wild Animal Rehabilitator who specializes in rehabilitating squirrels. Since all of my grandchildren but one live in Massachusetts and Idaho, my wife and I dote upon our partially blind pet Eastern Gray Squirrel, "Lucky." I am partial to her because I rescued her from my back yard when marauding Crows tore her mother's nest apart, ate her siblings, and left her for dead. I successfully did a cold weather resuscitation upon her and have bonded with her in a way that is almost beyond description. You can learn more about her, and proper squirrel nutrition at her website: www.squirrelnutrition.com .
I've been happily married to the same woman,(my dear wife,Paula,) for 38 years and have four wonderful grown children, Corrie, Jessica, Ethan and Laura. I have 3 beautiful and handsome grandchildren, Paetyn, Raielynne, and Conner.
I'm passionate about my job, about writing, about Natural Cures, and about flying. I'm passionate about everything I've written above, but, I'm willing and ready to walk away from all of it when the time comes for me to die. I'll leave with saddness those whom I love, not because I'm leaving, but because I'll not be able to take them with me. I cannot walk their path for them, they must do that themself. My prayer for them is that they find the same joy as I in their passion and service to others, and that they too would look forward to the pure joy of reaching the end of their life and hearing the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant! Enter-in, to the joy of thy Lord!

Past and Future Influence On Your Abundance If you're a past or future liver, stop where you are! Now, come back to the present! I want to give you a Free Gift, but only if you stay with me in the present! You may think you were here all the time, but I would wager that if you have the television on, or a radio, or have a big problem in your life, you were not present in the present when I momentarily brought you back! What a tragedy! Someone once said, "Life is a trance," an ongoing state of moving from one trance to another. When you awaken from one trance, you immediately enter another....
