About me - Lauren Flynn

About me

About me? Ha ha, what a joke. This is the Internet; I could say I'm anybody in the world, and you wouldn't know the difference. However, I, for one, am planning on telling the truth. Not the whole truth, yet nothing but the truth. You may not believe me, and what do I care?
My name is Lauren. Last name not important. I've been obsessed with reading and writing ever since I learned how. I currently work at a pet store, and will be starting university shockingly soon. Some essay I wrote is being published by EL Publishers, which I only submitted to get a scholarship for, and that's why I'm suddenly wondering what else I've written is good enough to be published.
There. That's all I'm telling, and that's all you need to know.

Briefly me

My passion is ...

Reading. Writing. Skip the arithmetic.

I know too much about ...

History. And television shows.

My parents always told me ...

Shut up and eat the damn broccoli!

My childhood ambition ...

To become an archaeologist. I love playing in dirt.

My favorite memory ...

Like I'm going to spoil the memory by telling everybody who reads this.

Why I write ...

Because the words just want to get out of me, in a wonderful flow of creativity and sarcasm!

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

everything/science fiction/the Arrogant Worms

My first job ...

A stupid paper route.

My best moment ...

Finding out something I wrote was actually getting published.

My inspiration ...

That crazy old guy I met who had been a lawyer, then chucked it all and went into the woods to paint for twenty years. Truly inspiring.

They don't influence our culture through those mediums; they do it through television; movies; almost everything that we see on television is American, and because of this, we start to do things like Americans. We wear American styles, because we see them...
