Paul Roasberry currently lives in western Colorado, where he began his period of internal exile in August, 2010. Here he spends his days amidst the bohemian clutter of his creative life, painting and writing, taking long walks and forging valuable friendships with sparrows, juncos and chickadees. From the window by his desk, he can look out over an eighty mile expanse of barren hills, canyons and farmlands to the distant peaks of the San Juans. He lives alone. He wishes it were otherwise, but unless he is prepared to hustle the floozies at Connie's restaurant, the women of quality reside in such far flung locales as Telluride, Aspen and Grand Junction, so he must content himself with an occasional date and a voluble correspondence with engaging matches on eHarmony.com

There is a reason why Barack Obama has developed a seemingly unstoppable momentum. The American people have suffered through seven years of George W. Bush's ignorance and incompetence, and the time has come for a dramatic reversal of his bankrupt policies. Of the major Democratic contenders who entered the race for the presidency last year, only Obama had the foresight to oppose the invasion of Iraq from the very beginning. Although Edwards claimed he was sorry he voted for Bush's war, and although Hillary Clinton maintains she would not have voted for it had she known what she knows now, ...
