29 y/o live in a suburb about 15 minutes west of Boston. Someday I'd like to become a professional writer. I love horror movies, alternative & classic rock music, books on bands from the late 60s and my favorite TV show is 'Twilight Zone'. I really enjoy this site, the money is an added bonus but I'd do it for free. It's a good way to put your money where your mouth is so to speak. I think it's fun to challenge yourself w/new topics and see how others rate your writing. If you have the time, please check out interviews I've done for an online fanzine DCM (Doors Collectors Magazine) here is the link to the site http://www.doors.com and here are the links to each interview:

My passion is ...
writing (duh)?
I know too much about ...
pointless trivia...
My childhood ambition ...
to be a writer...
My favorite memory ...
eating oreos at the kitchen table with the sun from the window on my face and the radio in the background i don't know why that sticks out in my memory but i was so content and happy...
Why I write ...
because what else is there...
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
lately it's been the tv show 'quarterlife' on bravo...
My first job ...
paperoute
My best moment ...
is still to come hopefully...
My inspiration ...
changes moment to moment...
Pink elephant
In the room
Hovering in the background
Lurking in the distance
Permeating the air
We share
Vacant stare
Tick tock
Of the grandfather clock
In the hallway
Hushed tones
Silent groans
Forced conversation
Avoiding the situation
Unwanted advances
Too long held glances
Time stood still
As I caved into your will
Monkey on my back
Scathing verbal attack
I am the pariah
And you the homecoming king
Father figure
I pull the trigger.
