About me - L G Hoel

About me

I am 69 years old and very thankful for the years I have lived. I could have passed through life's check out lane many years ago. I received a spinal fracture in 1964 and that was followed by the start of Syringomyelia in my spinal cord.

My work history has been somewhat varied. I have caddied, worked on a farm, door to door vacuum cleaner sales, various jobs on highway construction, sawmill/manual greenchain, US Air Force; squadron mail clerk, jet mechanic and crew chief, insurance sales, day laborer, car wash, commercial fishing crew, apprentice offset press operator, coast to coast truck driver, and volunteer repairer of just about anything that somebody needed fixed.

I have graduated from High School, Jet Aircraft Maintenance School and the School of Hard Knocks, with a degree. Jack Of All Trades, Master of Some.

I enjoy hunting, fishing, gardening, reading, attempting to write, and computer repairing.

My wife and I have been married forty years. We have four daughters, eleven grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.

God is good, all the time!
