Starting a vegetarian diet is the greatest sacrifice anyone can make for the earth. Each year, meat eating takes a huge toll on the environment, Vegetarianism is far less wasteful. Although it sounds scary, renouncing (or at least reducing the intake of) meat is simple, delicious, and not to mention a very healthy way to live. Fast food has made eating far easier, but it has also far removed Americans from the food they eat. Rather than being raised in farms, most cows, chicken and pigs are raised in overcrowded and unsanitary factories, primarily because meat is big money for agribusiness...
