I live in the great town of Urbandale, Iowa and work for a large group of physicians in the Des Moines area. I discovered writing in middle school and have dabbled in it ever since.
I developed a desire to write, when I discovered that if a college class's final included a written essay, I could count on getting a good grade. I have taken writing classes from various schools and continue to work on my technique and finding my true voice.
Health issues are important to me, so I write a lot about natural remedies and other health topics.
My other hobbies, besides writing, are reading, traveling, and gardening, not necessarily in that order. I thrive on creativity and try to express myself in lots of different ways.
I have just started a blog, so if you would like to keep up with what is happening in my daily life visit http://piecesofsmall.blogspot.com
Keep on writing and stretching your mind.
