I have a passion to learn about the world. I like to seek answers and try to benefit from the lessons life brings. Often through despair I learn about myself and come closer to the purpose of my life. I journal my thoughts and pray often. With an open heart I try to see what my God has to show me. It is not always easy, but I as I pray for his will, I am comforted that he is in charge.
I stumbled on to this site in my search for solace. I do not believe in coincidence and believe this is an area I am meant to explore. So with a true heart I begin this new journey to share my writing, to learn how to become a better writer and to meet people with the same passion as I.

comes from teachers I have had in the past.
"I can do it!" my 3 year old grandson exclaimed, as he dipped the jelly onto his bread. He was helping make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. His attention was focused and he did not want any help from me. I nervously hovered over him watching for jelly drips as he strategically dotted his piece of bread. Next came the peanut butter, thick and hard to spread. His persistence was undaunted as he maneuvered the knife across the bread, ripping it to shreds. I had to move away from the counter because the need to help was way too strong. I resisted the urge to take over and make the sandwich...
