I grew up in Northern California and moved to the East Coast in 1993. I've been a voracious reader since elementary school, and have been writing nearly as long. Although, taking it seriously for only a few years.
I am 37 years old and worked in the residential construction industry for 18 years. Most of that time as a Cabinetmaker/Trim Carpenter for a high-end luxury home builder. I currently eke out a living selling replacement windows and siding for a big-box home improvement retailer.
I've recently started a blog called "How not to..." Feel free to stop by and check it out.

I look forward to sharing my opinions with the world at large, and with other writers on Helium. I am looking forward to checking out the contests and marketplace opportunities on this site as well.
I am currently unpublished, but am working on a novel and a short story concurrently. I may also soon be writing for a local start-up website. More info as it develops.
Thanks for reading this far... keep checking back. I'm sure I will be adding to this bio from time to time as thoughts occur to me.
