About me

Hello,
and Welcome.
I've discovered how much I like to write and decided to share this expression where ever I could, so that is what has brought us here right now.
When I was in college, the other students, on many of my group project teams, thought I was a bit overboard with the precision I expected in their grammar and sentence structures on our assignments. We always made a high A though so none of them could stay irritated with me for long!
At that time I knew I could write well but didn't realize how much I would miss the interaction between my research, my communication with others by the written word and that creative, learning environment. So I'm back at it again, finally. My husband helped me discover it again by suggesting I might like working on the Internet doing some writing. I was surprised by how much that resonated with me. I think God has been preparing me all this time, through all the experiences He has given me. There's no other explanation, it's a set up that He made my natural path.
I've written a couple of children's books and am working on writing down the books in my head, but never actually thought of writing as a "job" for me until lately. Now I'm finally writing down that Christian novel that's been in my head for years. Hooray.

I've assisted my husband with our family businesses for many years and helped our kids try to master the English language as they've been growing up, among other things. I also have taught English here and there over the years. I'm a strong advocate of women having their own business, whatever it is. I have access to a special report that is given away here: http://triedtrueblue.com/ls3/. Be sure to get your copy if you are a woman seeking to do her own thing, or know one wanting that.
I also made a web page for earning money on the Internet as a writer so go look at that resource also: http://www.squidoo.com/moneyforwriting. I try to include every source I can find and/or use, as a paid writer.

Now, I live with my husband of 22 years and with 2 out of 3 of our girls, on the west coast of Mexico. Our oldest is married and in college pursuing her own writing career around the Houston, Texas area; where we used to live.
We enjoy the beach and the slower pace here and thought this Mexican cultural experience would be good for us and the girls. It's brought us closer to each other and to God, with more thankfulness ...just as I had hoped.

Thanks for spending a few moments with me. I'm happy to meet ya', so to speak.

Are your New Year's Resolutions Already
Slipping from the Priority List?

Change Within for Christians Today

We all want a feeling of progression in our lives yet, at the same time, we tend to hold ourselves back with our old, worn, comfortable patterns. How can we balance growth and consistency to have more of the positive changes we crave? Many of us think long and hard about our New Year's resolutions leading up to the coming year, while we celebrate the thought of achieving those goals and ring in the Holiday.
