I am a 45 year old female who lives in Texas. I have been a registered nurse for 14 years with specialties in labor & delivery, surgery, home health and hospice. Hospice was by far the most rewarding experience I ever had as a nurse. It was an honor to help patient's and their families during a most difficult time in their lives.
I have 3 children, the oldest of which is in her last 2 semesters of college. My middle child just graduated high school and will be attending the same university in the fall as her big sister. My 12 year old son is in 7th grade and growing up way to fast.
I like to watch movies, read and scrapbook.I'm living proof of the saying "What doesn't kill you will make you stronger". I was diagnosed 2 years ago with a rare disease called Andersen-Tawil Syndrome and am learning to be thankful each day I wake up and am able to move.
I am very excited about a new opportunity that has opened up for me. I am going to be a moderator for a new cancer support group in our small town. Unfortunately we have many who are afflicted and this is something that has been needed for quite some time and I am honored that I get to be a part of it.

Your initial thought is an earthquake, but an earthquake of that magnitude is highly unlikely in this area.
Keep your eyes closed and fast forward to April 20, 1999. It's 11:19 am MDT. After a busy morning of dealing with teenagers who think they already have all the answers, you are relaxing while eating lunch with a co-worke...
